A Traveler's Journey

The journey began following college graduation in California when I lived in Latin America studying Spanish and teaching English as a second language. It was there that my passion for travel and learning about other cultures first blossomed. After certification from the International Tour Management Institute (ITMI) in 1978, I launched my professional tour director career with a passion for sharing the world with others.

I am often asked about some of my favorite tour destinations. That question usually leads to sharing about Thailand, Machu Picchu, New Zealand, Turkey, African safaris, European river cruises, Norway, Switzerland, Vancouver, or the Canadian Rockies. I am also taken with emerging destinations I’ve led tours to such as Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, and China beginning in 1982. It's never a short conversation.

2020 marks a 42-year travel director career, leading tour & travel programs across 60 countries on 6 continents and the majority of States. I cannot imagine a time when I'm not sharing adventures with my fellow travelers. The journey is the destination.

Belgium, Brazil, Eastern & Western Canada, Canadian Rockies; China, Colombia, England, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Macao, Mexico, Thailand, Turkey, 40 USA States including Alaska & Hawaii.
